Shaw Pool Project

Perched on a 75-degree waterfront sand cliff, this pool and spa combo is a true feat of engineering and design. Built over 12 months using helical pile foundations, heavy steel reinforcement, and shotcrete, the project required creative problem-solving from the ground up, including retaining walls reaching up to 21 feet tall to safely support the structure.

The result is a stunning watershape featuring a 19-foot radial vanishing edge, underground storage space, a concrete vault housing the pool equipment and bathroom, and an outdoor kitchen nearby for effortless entertaining. Decorative tree stonework adds an extra layer of artistry, especially when viewed from the lower firepit area.

Designed to withstand hurricane-force winds and flooding, this pool is as resilient as it is beautiful. Finished with a Wet Edge custom pool plaster, Murrine Mosaics tile in Shark Skin, Southern Stone for the decorative retaining wall, and Marmiro Stone for the fireplace and pavers, every detail reflects our craftsmanship at the highest level.

This award-winning project has earned the Gold 2024 Master Pools Guild Excellence Award for Vanishing Edge, the Bronze Pool & Hot Tub Alliance 2024 International Award of Excellence, and the American Shotcrete Association’s 2023 Outstanding Pool & Recreation Project. It was even featured in Shotcrete Magazine!
